To rename a database, perform the following steps:
1 – Open cPanel (yourdomain/cpanel).
2 – Click on (MySQL® Databases) from Databases section.
3 – In the Current Databases table, click Rename for the desired database.
4 – Enter the new database name in the New name text box.
5 – Click Proceed.
